Priority to Strengthen Neighbourhoods
Challenges
Many of Toronto’s neighbourhoods are faring more poorly than others and face challenges of:
- Concentrated poverty
- High rates of unemployment and under-employment among recent immigrants and youth
- Gun violence
Strengthening these neighbourhoods and addressing their challenges will require both innovative approaches and new investments.
