Priority to Make Toronto Clean and Beautiful

Challenges

Torontonians are concerned that Toronto has become dirty, that the public realm is being neglected and that too many new buildings do little to promote beauty in our city.  Many are worried that years of cuts have left our parks and natural green spaces neglected and in need of attention.  It’s hard not to be worried when society becomes casual about dropping litter, looking to others for solutions and being complacent about poor design.
We need to change our attitudes towards littering, renew our commitment to quality in design and engage partners from all sectors to have a lasting impact on making the city clean and beautiful.
